Piano

Our beloved Miss Danielle has loved music since day one. She began her music studies with Patricia Light and Miss Georgette Demopoulos.  Studying with both instructors for over a decade.  Early on, she had a strict focus on note identification, music notation, structural development, dynamic expression, and tempo control.  Miss Danielle also began to study the clarinet and bass guitar.  After graduating with a degree in Specialized Sciences from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Miss Danielle continued her training with the Sears Music School, where she was introduced to teaching special needs and behavioral needs students.  Miss Danielle is trained in musical education for students with autism, Asperger’s, ADHD and Tourette syndrome.  She believes ‘each student has a unique way of learning and understanding, it is our job as supportive instructors to educate, foster and guide.’  Miss Danielle’s students range from absolute beginner through advanced.  Piano instructor at AIM Academy since 2015, our awesome Miss Danielle has a fresh take on the traditional piano lesson.  Focusing on notation, fluid reading, theory, ear training and discovering musical tastes to encourage passion and an emotional connection to music.  According to Miss Danielle, ‘I have never worked, my job is my life and I love every moment with all my heart.’
