UFP/UFPx Artistic Director, Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Hip Hop

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Bo Belza began his dance career in high school. His passion for hip hop grew after auditioning and being excepted onto, MTV’s Season 3 “America’s Best Dance Crew” contestant’s, FR3SH Dance Company. Here he rigorously trained and studied with well respected hip hop choreographers and earned the opportunity to perform and study across the United States and Canada. He performed and competed in some of the most well respected competitions and exhibitions such as Carnival, The East Coast Dance Competition, Funkanomentry’s Sockhop, and The World of Dance. Bo continued his growth as a dancer and choreographer after earning the position of Artistic Director for Fr3sh Juniors, the company’s training team. To bring the Hip Hop community closer together, Bo excepted a New Jersey staff position for the internationally recognized Hip Hop association, “Boogiezone.” Mr. Belza continued to instruct, perform, and train when he was chosen to direct one of the East Coast’s leading hip hop teams, UFP Dance LLC; Arts In Motion Academy’s own professional Hip Hop Company. With Bo as one of the company’s artistic directors, UFP has swept the east coast winning 1st place in some of the most nationally recognized hip hop competitions; “Prelude East Coast,” “Fusion,” “Pride,” “Elements” etc. His passion for dance has led him to direct a new project, “Ladies with Guns” as he hopes to become a role model for continuing dance education in the East Coast Hip Hop Dance community. At the same time, he is completing his Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design with Kean University. Bo will be joining Arts In Motion for another season, where he looks forward to sharing his knowledge, musicality, and choreography with his beautiful students.
