Gianna is from Matawan and began her dance training at the age of three with Arts in Motion Academy. She grew up competing the AIM Performance Co and was named Company Captain her final season. 2017 to 2020, Gianna was a member of her high school’s dance team, also serving as captain her senior year. She was later accepted to the Montclair State University Dance Team, where her team won a National
Championship title in 2021. After a year at Montclair State University, Gianna decided to further her training at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. In May of 2025, Gianna graduated as part of the inaugural class, receiving her BFA in Commercial Dance. The Boston Conservatory has one of the nation’s most premier colligate dance programs. During her time in Boston, she learned from many acclaimed choreographers and was mentored by industry legend Anthony Burrell. Gianna performed in numerous ensembles at Berklee College of Music. She gained valuable experience as creative director, dance captain, choreographer, and assistant choreographer in a number of large scale performances. She also showcased her own original work for both stage and film. Most recently, Gianna had the opportunity to perform with internationally renowned artists Usher, Coldplay and Gilberto Santa Rosa. Gianna is excited and to share her knowledge and ongoing studies with her students, at her beloved alma mater, AIM Academy!
